The biggest obstacle to a good platform isn't technology, it's friction. When it's easier to bypass the platform than to use it, people bypass it. So make the right thing the easy thing: golden paths over tickets, policy as code over review queues, self-service over sign-offs. It holds whether a team or an AI agent is doing the work: governance at scale, without killing the pace.
